South Toms River Department of Public Works seeks qualified individual for full-time position to perform routine work pertaining to the construction, maintenance, repair and cleaning of streets, snow removal, parks and playgrounds, public facilities, leaf, brush and solid waste and recycling collection; and other related duties as required. Heavy manual labor in adverse weather conditions required. Successful applicant is required to possess a valid New Jersey CDL driver’s license. Successful applicants must undergo a background check and drug test prior to appointment. Experience is preferred although not essential. Candidates must have good communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude. Equal Opportunity Employer.
