Notice of Public hearing under EO-172 and No Net Loss for Operational Improvements on the Garden State Parkway, Milepost 78.8 to 84.5
Beachwood and South Toms River Boroughs, Berkeley and Toms River Townships, Ocean County.
Please be advised that the New Jersey Turnpike Authority ("Authority") will be holding a Public Hearing, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Hearing will be held at Ocean County Library, Toms River Branch, 101 Washington Street, Toms River, NJ, 08753. Specifics of the Hearing and a description of the proposed plans are outlined in the enclosed Public Hearing Notice.
The Authority will be conducting the Public Hearing in accordance with the Executive Order No. 172 (Kean 1987) and New Jersey No Net Loss Reforestation Act (N.J.S.A 12:1L-14.1 et seq.) which require the Authority to conduct a Public Hearing to advise the public of certain projects prior to the start of construction and to notify the County and Municipal Officials of such a hearing.
